Dedicated to change.

The American Horse Project is a registered 501(c)3 founded to provide an innovative approach to protect American horses, donkeys, mules and burros (equines) within U.S. borders and abroad. Each year approximately 150,000 American equines are shipped to Mexico and Canada where they are slaughtered for human consumption. The American Horse Project creates opportunities to save horses from this fate and host Equine Assisted Therapy programs for people with autism, learning disabilities, wounded warriors & PTSD.
